Graduate Admission

Admission Calendar

Graduate programs are organized on a bi-semester basis, using a credit system. In each academic year, there are two regular semesters and one optional summer sesstion. Each regular semester normally includes 15 weeks of study, while the summer session takes 8 weeks duration.

Qualification of Applicants

An undergraduate degree or higer degree in related areas from an accredited institution or from an appropriately certified international educational institution, and english proficiency are required.

Required Documents

  • A completed application form and/ or scholarship application form.
  • Research concept paper (1-3 pages) of proposed thesis topic for PhD program applications
  • One (1) 3x4 cm, color photograph taken not more than six months prior to application.
  • A photocopy of your house registration.
  • A photocopy of your identification card or passport.
  • A certified copy of all undergraduate and graduate transcripts withcertified translations in English, if applicable.
  • Proof of English language competency, i.e., TOEFL, IELTS or equivalent.

How to Apply

You may visit us to pick up the application forms or download the forms and print them out. Submit a completed application forms with all required documents to the Graduate Program office, at Graduate Building (BBD Viphavadee ) by hand or by a registered mail.

Credit Transfer

SIU accepts transfer students provided that they are in good standing with the last institution attended and that they meet the admission standards. The maximum number of credits transferred depends on the requirements of the specific program.

Graduate Scholarships

Graduate scholarships are available for master degrees and PhD.
