CHE Internal Quality Audit Results for Academic Year 2009SIU Internal Quality Audit Committee for Academic Year 2009 led by Asst. Prof. Aree Wachirawarakarn, Chairperson of Dhonburi Rajabhat University Coucil, visited Shinawatra University during 26-27 August 2010. The 7-member committee consisting of six external experts and one SIU representative scrutinized SIU Self Assessment Report 2009 and supporting documents and interviewed SIU stakeholders following the criteria and quality standards of Commission on Higher Education adopted by SIU. The overall assessment results gave SIU the top grade of “Very Good” (2.74 out of 3), with “Very Good” rating for seven and “Good” for three out of ten criteria. Details of the audit results (in Thai) will soon be available to the public on CHE QA Online website.

SIU M.ED students in Teaching English as An International Language program visited Nestle Head Office on 6 August 2010 as part of the course ED 551 Business Communication and Professional Presentation Skills. The students were briefed by the Learning and Training Manager, Human Resources Khun Wirat Jongpitisub and Khun Pawena Nanthawatsiri.

SIU M.ED students in Teaching English as An International Language program visited Bangsue Chia Meng Rice Mill Co.,Ltd. Head Office in Nonthaburi on 29 July 2010 as part of the course ED 551 Business Communication .The students were briefed and taken on a tour of the production line by the CEO of the company: Mr Vallop Manatunya.

Operations at SIU's New Midtown Bangkok Location StartEffective June 1, 2010, all SIU graduate studies operations have been moved from Shinawatra Tower III to the newly renovated facilities at SIU's new midtown Bangkok location, BBD Viphavadi Building, next door to Army Sport Club and in front of VoiceTV, on Vibhavadi-Rangsit Road near Suthisan-Vibhavadi Intersection.
